Hi @Ave21,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP ENVY 4520 series printer is showing error code 0xB39FF018, and you’re unable to set it up with your Windows 11 laptop. Let’s go through some step-by-step troubleshooting to clear the error and reconnect the printer.

1. Power Reset the Printer

With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer and from the wall outlet.

Wait 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into a direct wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).

Turn the printer back on and check if the error clears.

2. Check Ink Cartridges

Open the cartridge access door.

Remove both cartridges.

Gently wipe the copper contacts on the cartridges with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.

Reinsert the cartridges firmly and close the access door.

Restart the printer.

3. Update Printer Firmware

If the error clears and the printer starts up, connect it temporarily via USB.

Go to HP Software & Drivers → search HP ENVY 4520 series → download the latest firmware update.

Run the update to make sure the printer is on the newest version.

4. Reinstall Printer on Windows 11

On your laptop, press Windows + IBluetooth & devicesPrinters & scanners.

Remove the HP ENVY 4520 if it appears.

Download and install HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.

Open HP Smart → click Set Up a New Printer.

Follow on-screen instructions to connect via Wi-Fi or USB.

I hope this helps.
