  3. Click Printer in the top-left corner.
  4. If Pause Printing is checked, click it to uncheck and resume printing.
  5. Restart your printer and try printing again.

2. Restart Print Spooler (Windows)

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Scroll down and find Print Spooler.
  3. Right-click it and select Restart.
  4. Try printing again.

3. Check Printer Connection

  • If using USB, try a different port or cable.
  • If using WiFi, restart your router and printer, then reconnect the printer.

4. Reset the Printer

  1. Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Plug it back in and turn it on.
  3. Try printing again.

5. Check HP Smart or Printer Software

  • Open the HP Smart app and check if there are any error messages.
  • Ensure your printer is not set to offline or paused.

6. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  1. Go to HP Support and enter your printer model.
  2. Download and install any available firmware updates.

7. Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer

  1. Remove the printer from Devices and Printers.
