I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 being stuck in pause mode, try these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Check the Print Queue (Windows)
- Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 and select See what's printing.
- Click Printer in the top-left corner.
- If Pause Printing is checked, click it to uncheck and resume printing.
- Restart your printer and try printing again.
2. Restart Print Spooler (Windows)
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down and find Print Spooler.
- Right-click it and select Restart.
- Try printing again.
3. Check Printer Connection
- If using USB, try a different port or cable.
- If using WiFi, restart your router and printer, then reconnect the printer.
4. Reset the Printer
- Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall for 2-3 minutes.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
- Try printing again.
5. Check HP Smart or Printer Software
- Open the HP Smart app and check if there are any error messages.
- Ensure your printer is not set to offline or paused.
6. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Go to HP Support and enter your printer model.
- Download and install any available firmware updates.
7. Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer
- Remove the printer from Devices and Printers.
- Uninstall HP Smart or HP Printer software.
- Restart your computer and reinstall the printer using HP Smart or HP Easy Start.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
