Hi @JayB1225

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like you've already tried several resets for your HP Officejet Pro 8600, but the display remains blank.

Here are some additional steps you can consider:

1. Check for Loose Connections

  • Open the printer and inspect the ribbon cables connecting the display to the motherboard. Sometimes, reseating these cables can resolve display issues. Be gentle and ensure the connections are secure.

2. Perform a Power Drain

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Disconnect all cables, including USB and network cables.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain residual power.
  • Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors) and turn it on.

3. Update Firmware

  • If the printer is still functional despite the blank display, try updating the firmware. You can do this via the HP software on your computer or by using a USB stick if the printer supports it.

4. Inspect the Display Panel

  • If the issue persists, the display panel itself might be faulty. Replacing the panel may require professional assistance or contacting HP support.

Let me know if you'd like help with any of these steps! 😊
