hp Officejet Pro 8600 stoped working, power button solid green

Officejet Pro 8600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an old Hp officejet Pro 8600 printer. recently it stopped working well wireless - I switched to USB.

following that, maybe a week after it stopped working. the powerlight turns on solid green but nothing happens. no noise either

the computer says it cant reach the printer.

I  tried rebooting, removing the power cable, changing sockets, unplugging and replugging.

I know it is an old printer, but I'm still hoping it can be saved.

any help would be greatly appreciated
