I'd like to know what this code is, I've unplugged my printer and after a few minutes it comes back on.

Hi @jsplive,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the error code 0XB80E0C0C on your HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer typically indicates a hardware or communication issue between the printer’s components or with its connection to the computer.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:

  • Power Cycle the Printer: You mentioned you have unplugged the printer, but make sure to leave it unplugged for at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in. This allows the printer to reset fully.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Sometimes, hidden paper jams can trigger error codes. Open all compartments and inspect for any stuck paper or debris.
  • Check the Ink Cartridges: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and seated in their slots. If the error persists, try removing and reinstalling them.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer’s web interface.
  • Check for Connectivity Issues: If the printer is connected wirelessly, make sure the connection is stable. Try restarting your router and printer to ensure they are communicating correctly.
  • Perform a Hard Reset: If none of the above steps work, try a hard reset. To do this, unplug the printer, hold down the Power button for 15 seconds, and then plug it back in while continuing to hold the button.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
