HP ENVY 7645 e-All-in-One Printer

hp envy 7645 flashes home light, question mark and return arrow.  Says to power off and then power on.  Then i get error message B1000158

I understand that you are having issues with flashing code b1000158.

 

Updating the printer firmware, resetting the printer network settings, and then reconnecting the printer back to your home WiFi may resolve the issue. Here is how to do it:

 

Please ensure the printer is up-to-date with its firmware. If you are unsure, you can download and install the latest firmware update from here.

1.) Unplug your modem/router and leave it powered off.

2.) Restart your printer, from the printer control panel, touch "Setup". Touch "Network Setup", touch "Restore Network Settings" and touch Yes.

3.) Power off your printer

4.) Reconnect your modem/router and wait for it to re-establish its internet connection.

5.) Power on your printer.

6.) On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon . Touch the Settings icon . Touch Wireless Settings.

7.)  Touch Wireless Setup Wizard, touch the name of your network, and then follow the instructions to connect the printer to your home WiFi.
