@ASimpson, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It can be frustrating when your printer is connected to Wi-Fi but fails to interact appropriately with your PC. Here are a few troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

Check Your Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning correctly and is not experiencing connectivity issues.
  • Make sure the printer and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Reboot Your Devices:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Restart your computer and reconnect to Wi-Fi.

Update Drivers and Software:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. You can download them from the HP Support website.
  • Check for any software updates for HP ePrint or related printing software.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • You may need to reconnect your printer to the Wi-Fi network. Follow the setup procedure and enter the correct network credentials.

Check Firewall and Security Settings:

  • Your computer’s antivirus or firewall settings may be blocking the printer. Check these settings and make adjustments as needed to allow the printer to connect.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
