Hi @joyporter,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The blue screen with the code 024A493F on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e printer typically indicates a firmware issue or a hardware malfunction. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer by unplugging the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
  • Turn on the printer to see if the issue persists.

Reset the Printer:

  • Disconnect all other cables and devices connected to the printer (USB, Ethernet, etc.).
  • Perform a hard reset by plugging the power cord back in while holding down the power button.
  • Release the power button once the printer powers on and see if it proceeds past the blue screen.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • If the printer boots up successfully, check for any firmware updates that may resolve underlying issues. You can do this through the HP Smart app or the printer's built-in web server (EWS).

Reinstall the Printer Firmware:

  • If you suspect a firmware issue, you may need to reinstall or update the firmware. Visit the HP support website and search for firmware updates for the OfficeJet Pro 9025e. Follow the instructions provided to reinstall the firmware.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
