Hi @chefsanchezbes,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I’m sorry you’re going through this; I understand the concern and don’t worry I’ll help you with this.

Could you tell me a bit more about what happens during the reboot?

  • Does the laptop get stuck on the HP logo screen, a spinning circle, or a blank display?
  • Do you hear the fans or drives running, or does it seem completely frozen?
  • Did this start after a recent update, hardware change, or was it sudden?

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  •  Power cycle: Hold down the power button until the laptop shuts off completely, unplug it, and wait 30–60 seconds before turning it back on.
  •  Boot into Safe Mode: Restart and press F11 or Shift + F8 during startup to access recovery options. From there, try booting into Safe Mode to see if Windows loads.
  • System Restore: If you can reach recovery options, use System Restore to roll back to a point before the issue started.
  •  Check for updates: Once you’re able to boot, run Windows Update and HP Support Assistant to ensure drivers and BIOS are current.
  •  Reset startup settings: In recovery options, you can also try “Startup Repair” to automatically fix boot issues.

If none of these step’s help, the issue could be related to a corrupted update or hardware driver conflict.

I hope this helps

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster!
