Hi @JayaGopinathDas,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error 49 on an HP printer usually indicates a firmware or communication error. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue.

  • Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in. Turn the printer back on and see if the error persists.
  • Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually download firmware updates from the HP website and follow the instructions to install them on your printer.
  • Check Connections: Ensure that all cables connecting the printer to the computer or network are securely plugged in. If you're using a network connection, make sure the network cable is properly connected and the network settings are correct.
  • Clear Print Queue: If there are any pending print jobs in the print queue, try clearing them. Sometimes, a corrupted print job can cause errors.
  • Reset the Printer: Resetting the printer to its default settings may help resolve the issue. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
  • Check for Hardware Issues: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
