Hi @doratozoulou,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP printer's information button blinks with an orange light; it generally indicates an error or issue that needs attention. Here are a few basic troubleshooting steps you can undertake:

Check for Error Messages: If your printer has a display screen, check for any error messages that might provide more details on what's wrong. This can assist in identifying the specific issue.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
  • Wait for about a minute before plugging the power cord back in.
  • Turn the printer back on and try printing again.

Check Ink/Toner Levels:

  • Ensure that the printer has sufficient ink or toner. A blinking orange light could indicate low or empty cartridges.
  • Replace any low or empty cartridges as needed.

Paper Jam:

  • Open all doors leading to the paper path and check for any stuck paper.
  • Clear any paper jams, making sure to remove all pieces of paper to prevent further jams.

Connectivity Issues:

  • Confirm that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network.
  • Restart your router if you are using a network connection.
  • Reinstall the printer if it is a wireless network issue.

    Firmware Update:

Take care and have an amazing day!
