That happened with my 8600 Pro Plus last month. You have two options try to purchase a cleaning kit for your print head. I choose to purchase an HP new print head with starter cartridges. If you purchase a cleaning kit you  have to wait 24 hours before you re-install the print head. It must be completely dry. You can get a new print head on Amazon The item is HP CR322A Print Head Replacement Kit it cost $140. Even if you buy the cleaning kit you will have to replace all your ink cartridges so in the long run I think it's best just to replace the print head. There is really no other fix. I tried for several hours trying to fix my printer no luck until I purchased the a new print head. The same thing happened to me, the problem started after I replaced two ink cartridges. If you let the ink cartridge deplete completely it may cause the print head to clog up. I didn't know this. I've done this before and never had a problem until last month. It's best to replace your cartridge before it's completely empty. Replacing  the print head is very easy.  Hope this helps.
