@raimahboob, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP 110w printer is showing a blinking yellow light and not connecting with your phone or laptop, it could indicate an issue with the printer's connectivity or a problem with the printer itself. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to fix the issue:

Check for Paper Jam or Other Errors

Check the printer for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper tray or the paper path. Sometimes, the yellow light blinks to indicate an error, such as a paper jam or misfeed.

Clear any jams and make sure the printer is set up properly with paper.

Check the Ink Cartridges

Open the printer’s ink cartridge door and make sure that the cartridges are installed correctly.

If there’s an issue with the ink cartridges, the yellow light might blink to indicate a problem. Try removing and reseating the cartridges.

Power Cycle the Printer

Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.

Wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and power the printer back on.

This might reset the printer’s internal state and clear any temporary errors.

Check Printer's Wireless Connection

Ensure your printer is connected to Wi-Fi if you're trying to print wirelessly from your phone or laptop.

Reset the network settings: On the printer’s control panel, find and navigate to the wireless settings, and select the option to reset or restore network settings.

Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi: Use the printer’s control panel to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network. Make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your phone or laptop.

Run HP Smart:

Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)

  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
