Photosmart 7510 e
iOS

My house had DSL (2.4G) in the past, printer (HP7510) works well with iPad and iPhone.

Recently, my house was updated to 5G (fiber). Now my devices (iPad/Iphone) still prints with 2.4G, but will not print with 5G (does not recogmized 5G name). I have two names for 2.4G and 5G.

My WiFi provider claims its the printer not capable of printing 5G with these Apple devices.

Yet my MacBook Air prints on both 2.4G and 5G!!!!

Question...

1. Could this be caused by a router mismatch?

2. I guess it is very possible for the printer is old (?). Do you have software update for a HP7510 printer to print of 5G?

Hello,

HP Printer are designed to work only on 2.4GHz band and not on 5GHz.

However you may isolate 2.4GHz and 5GHz in your router settings ( contact your ISP ). Have the printer connected to 2.4GHz SSID and also your other wireless devices to print.
