HP Photosmart D7560 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Right at turning on my HP Photosmart D7560 started giving an error message: "The following ink cartridge(s) appear to be missing or damaged". 

Printer used to work with the same set of cartridges (all almost full) before I cleaned the printhead, but there were some print quality issues.

I soaked the down part of it in 50% isopropyl alcohol. 

I did it twice. 

After first cleaning the print quality became somewhat better, but still not good enough.

But after I did the same second time the printer stopped recognizing ink cartridges.

Every sits firm on its places. The hatch is properly closed. 

What went wrong. Have second soaking damager the printhead?

I understand the ink cartridge is not working. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps. Due to the age of the printer, the support options are limited. Make sure you are using HP ink cartridges.

For more info on resolving print quality issues, refer to - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options. This could be a defective ink cartridge or the issue could be with the printhead.

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
