Hi @twolab

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The 62.80.13 error code on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 typically indicates a hardware issue, often related to the printer's ink system or printhead. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the printer and ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Reseat them if necessary.
  • If any cartridges are low or empty, replace them with new ones.

Clean the Printhead:

  • From the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Tools > Clean Printhead. Follow the prompts to clean the printhead.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power cable from the printer while it’s still on.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cable while holding the Power button.
  • Release the button after a few seconds.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Inspect the printer for any paper jams or obstructions that could be causing the error. Clear any jammed paper you find.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support website for firmware updates for your printer model. Installing the latest firmware can resolve many issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
