HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

I have been getting the message printerhead or ink system failure. I always use hp ink cartridges. This what I have done so far: unplug for 60 seconds and plug back in. Shutdown from power button and restarted. Removed cartridges and printer head and cleaned contacts. Then I pushed button in tools  to clean print heads. Printer worked. Next day same error message and all I did was shutdown and turned back on and it worked. 2 days later same message so I shutdown and restarted , didn't work. I removed cartridges and print head and reset, then it worked when I pushed tools to clean printhead. After that was done I tried to print something and again same error message. Any help?
