HP envy 7855
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Hp Envy 7645 appears to be giving up the ghost.  It is making crunching sounds and prints my photos offset on the page.  I am looking at the Hp 7855 which appears to be an upgraded version of the 7845.  Is this true? If not, what is the differance? Also, my old printer uses the 62 cartridge's and the 7855 uses a 64.  Is there any difference in the actual ink or is that part the same.  I know the cartridge's are not interchangeable.

No, you can't use HP 61 cartridges on HP Envy 78xx printers. You can only use HP 61 for HP Envy 764x printers.

Regards.

Thanks, but that isn't the question.  The question is "is there a difference in the ink."  In my post I mentioned that I know the cartridges are not interchangeable.
