I constantly receive a message of output bin is full, even when it is empty. How do I get rid of this issue, so printer will print.

Hi @MarkB1951,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

To resolve this issue, perform the following:

  • The output bin may be full. Empty the output bin. Printing resumes automatically.
  • If the error persists, take a close look at the flaps hanging out the exit of the printer. They should move up and down freely. If one of them is stuck up, broken or dislodged, then a bin full error is displayed.
  • Open rear exit tray and turn the printer off, and then on. If the printer comes to a Ready state, close the rear tray and try printing.
  • Clean the paper path below the toner area and exit assembly at the back of the printer. Make sure there are no pieces of paper stuck in the paper path of the printer.
  • If the error persists, contact customer support at www.hp.com/go/contactHP, or contact an HP-authorized service or support provider.

Keep me posted for further assistance
