installed hp envy 6000e. It printed one page. I sent several other attempts to print, it said it was printing but it never even pulled in a page.

Hi @Salsa211,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand how frustrating it can be to have your printer stop working after a successful first print. Let’s work together to identify what’s causing the issue and get your HP ENVY 6000e back to printing smoothly.

  • Are there any error messages or blinking lights on the printer's control panel?
  • Is the printer connected to your computer or device via Wi-Fi, USB, or another method?
  • Have you checked the printer’s paper tray to ensure it is properly loaded and not jammed?

Let's try these steps.

Restart the Printer and Device:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for about 2 minutes.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device.
  • Plug the printer back in, turn it on, and try printing again.

Check the Printer’s Connection:

  • Ensure the printer is properly connected to your network (Wi-Fi or USB).
  • For Wi-Fi: Navigate to the printer’s control panel and verify it’s connected to the correct network under Settings > Network Setup.
  • If needed, reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app.

Clear and Restart the Print Queue:

  • On your computer, go to the Devices and Printers section (or Printers & Scanners in macOS/Windows 11).
  • Select your HP ENVY 6000e printer and click on Open Queue.
  • Cancel any stuck or pending print jobs and restart the print queue. Try printing again.

Inspect the Paper and Ink:

  • Ensure there is enough paper in the tray and that it’s properly aligned.
  • Check the ink levels using the printer’s control panel or the HP Smart app. Replace any low or empty cartridges.

Reset the Printer to Default Settings:

  • If the issue persists, perform a network reset on the printer:
    • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously until the power button light blinks.
  • Reconnect the printer to your network using the HP Smart app and test printing again.
