Hi @Dosbo,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

A blinking orange light on your HP LaserJet MFP 139we printer typically indicates an issue that needs attention. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check the Printer Display or Control Panel:

  • Look for any error messages or icons on the printer's display or control panel that can give you more information about the issue.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer's access doors and check for any paper jams. Remove any jammed paper carefully.

Check the Toner Cartridge:

  • Ensure the toner cartridge is installed correctly. Remove it and reinstall it to make sure it is seated properly.
  • Check the toner levels and replace the cartridge if it's low or empty.

Check for Open Doors or Trays:

  • Make sure all doors and paper trays are closed properly. An open door or tray can cause the printer to stop working.

Check the Paper Tray:

  • Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size and avoid overloading the tray.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues.

Check Network Connection:

  • If the printer is connected to a network, ensure the connection is stable. Check the Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable and make sure the printer is connected to the network.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP support website and check for any firmware updates for your printer model. Updating the firmware can resolve some issues.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a factory reset on the printer. This will restore the printer to its default settings and can resolve some issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
