Hi @AmieBligen14,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It's frustrating when you've tried so many troubleshooting steps, and the printer still isn't working. Here are some additional steps you can try.

  1. Check Printer Status:

    • Ensure that there are no error messages on the printer's display screen. If there are, note them down for further investigation.
  2. Paper and Ink Levels:

    • Make sure there is enough paper in the paper tray.
    • Check the ink or toner levels to ensure they are not empty.
  3. Print Queue:

    • Check the print queue on your computer to see if there are any pending print jobs. Cancel any stuck or pending print jobs.
  4. Default Printer:

    • Make sure the HP OfficeJet 3830 is set as the default printer on your computer. Sometimes, print jobs go to a different printer if it's set as the default.
  5. Reinstall Printer Drivers:

    • Uninstall the printer drivers from your computer and reinstall them. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
  6. Firmware Update:

    • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP OfficeJet 3830. Updating the firmware might resolve compatibility issues.
  7. Firewall/Antivirus:

    • Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software to see if they are blocking the communication between your computer and the printer.
  8. USB Connection (if possible):

    • If you are currently using a wireless connection, try connecting the printer to your computer using a USB cable. This can help determine if the issue is related to the wireless connection.
  9. Factory Reset:

    • As a last resort, you might consider performing a factory reset on the printer. This will reset all settings to their default values. Keep in mind that you will need to set up the wireless connection again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
