my brand new printer does not print out ink, the test pages print out good, but when i try to print

my brand new printer does not print out ink, the test pages print out good, but when i try to print no ink comes out, i have had this printer for 6 months without being able to use it, it is the hp office jet 3830.

I'd like to help with the printing issue.

 

To better assist you - 

  1.  Does the copy print out blank as well?
  2.  What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 
  3.  What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or an iPhone?
  4. How is the printer connected to your device Wifi or USB?
