Hi, Even though the default print layout settings is set to front to back, which means , first page and then second page etc, my printer does the otherwise. It prints the last page first and then next to last page etc. and lastly print the cover page. Why

My printer is old printer that does not have the duplex capability. if suppose, I print a 10 page by selecting odd pages, and even pages. i find it difficult because of this behavior. if the first page is printed first, then i could easily place all the odd pages printed correctly  to print the even pages .But , is there anything I miss. Or it is driver design or a missing in settings.

I wish to inform that  it shows correctly in the preview of the documents shown, when you select odd pages and even pages.

Please give me  a real solutionfront to backfront to back

Hi, Thanks Irwin, I have done as you said and will try to print.

Please say, if i can select odd pages and front to back, to print only odd pages, by top loading required sheets , say 3 sheets for six pages and then select even pages in my printer.

2. Some say, that I had to select duplex printing manually,

The first option should work correctly by printing 1,3,5 and then 2,4,6. My printer does not have auto duplex feature. Please reply.

Hi, Thanks , Irwin. After following your procedures, also, it prints the last page in first, even though, I have selected , front to back layout, and odd pages, it printed 5,3, i in order instead of 1,3,5.

Then, I changed the Front to back to Back to Front, and tried the same printing of pages. Wow, It prints the first page firstly and in order. I think that You have to change the Front to Back to Back to front to print correctly. If possible, change in the specific printer driver this mistaken words,

Normally front to back,  means first page first, but it behaves the opposite way.

Thanks for your tips
