Hi @mother6,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding blinking light and printer's connectivity!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

  1. First, try restarting your printer and router. Turn off the printer and unplug it from power. Restart your Wi-Fi router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. Turn on the printer and see if the light stops blinking.

  2. Next, reconnect your printer to Wi-Fi manually. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer for 3 seconds until it blinks. Then, press and hold the WPS button on your router for 5 seconds until the connection starts. Wait for about 2 minutes, and the Wi-Fi light should turn solid once connected. If WPS doesn't work, use the HP Smart App.

  3. For the recommended method, download the HP Smart App on your phone or PC. You can find it in the App Store or Google Play for iOS and Android, and you can get the Windows/macOS version from HP's website. Open HP Smart and click on "Set Up a New Printer." Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi.
