Hello howardzien,

Thank you for sharing your concern.

If your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw is only printing in black and white after upgrading to Windows 11 or on new in 11, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Update Printer Driver:

Ensure that you have the latest driver installed for your printer. Visit the HP Support website to download the latest driver and software updates for your printer model that are compatible with Windows 11.
Check Printer Settings:

Open the printer properties on your Windows 11 device:
Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
Select your printer and click on Manage > Printing preferences.
Ensure that the "Print in grayscale" option is not selected.
Set the print mode to "Color."
Adjust Print Preferences:

In the printing preferences dialog, verify that the settings are such that color printing is enabled. Ensure any settings related to mono printing are disabled.
Use HP Smart App:

You can also try using the HP Smart app on Windows 11 to adjust printer settings and manage print jobs. It may provide additional control over color and quality settings.
Test with Different Applications:

Try printing from different applications to see if the issue persists across all software. Sometimes, specific applications may have their own print settings overriding the defaults.
Reinstall Printer:

If the issue continues, try removing and reinstalling the printer on your Windows 11 system:
Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
Select the printer and click Remove device.
Then, re-add the printer by clicking on Add a printer or scanner and follow the setup prompts.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, Try with driver link for HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit)
