Hi @doubleprt ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Envy 4520 is reprinting the last job it processed when you turn your computer back on. This can sometimes happen due to a printer queue issue or communication problems between your printer and computer. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:

Cancel All Print Jobs:

  • On your computer, open the Printers & Scanners settings.
  • Select your HP Envy 4520 and click Open Queue.
  • Cancel any pending print jobs in the queue, including the duplicate ones.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Sometimes, jobs can get stuck in the queue. If clearing them manually doesn't work, try restarting your printer and computer. This can help clear any residual print jobs.

Check for Printer Settings:

  • Ensure your printer is not set to "Reprint" or "Resume" by default when powered on. You can usually find these options in the printer's settings menu.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a hard reset on the printer by unplugging it from the power source for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.

Update Printer Driver:

  • Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. You can do this via the HP Smart app or from the HP website.

Check Printer Defaults:

  • Verify your printer's default settings to make sure it's not set to reprint any previous documents. This can sometimes happen if there is a glitch.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

In Windows based systems it is sometimes necessary to purge the print spooler to resolve this issue. See instructions at this link https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/cant-delete-print-queue-in-windows-10/c01abbe3...
