Hi @colomaauto,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP printer is showing a blue screen with the error B8000684, and all the buttons are flashing. Let’s go through some steps to troubleshoot this issue.

Restart the Printer

Turn off the printer and unplug it from the wall outlet.

Wait 30–60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper or Obstructions

Open all printer access doors and check for any paper jams, foreign objects, or stuck cartridges.

Remove any obstructions carefully.

Check Ink / Toner Cartridges

Remove and reseat all ink or toner cartridges to ensure they are properly installed.

Make sure none of the cartridges are expired, empty, or incompatible.

Reset the Printer

With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.

Wait 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord and turn the printer on.

Try a Different Power Source

Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet, avoiding surge protectors or extension cords.

Use HP Smart / Diagnostics Again

Ensure you are using the latest version of HP Smart.

Run the diagnostic tool again after performing the above steps.

I hope this helps.
