Hi @fiddler13,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your printer might be having issues with its print alignment or calibration. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix this issue.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that your printer settings on your computer are configured correctly. Sometimes incorrect settings can cause alignment issues.

Run Printer Calibration:

  • Many printers have a built-in calibration or alignment function. Check your printer’s user manual or the printer software on your computer for instructions on how to run this calibration.

Clean the Print Heads:

  • Print heads that are dirty or clogged can cause misalignment. Most printers have an option to clean the print heads via the printer’s settings menu or software.

Check Paper Alignment:

  • Make sure the paper is properly loaded and aligned in the paper tray. Paper that is not aligned correctly can cause printing issues.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes HP releases updates that can fix bugs and improve performance.

Reset the Printer:

  • As a last resort, try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This can sometimes resolve various issues.

Check for Software Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer driver and related software are up to date.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
