photosmart 7520 setup cartridges

HP Recommended
HP Photosmart 7520 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a new printer but I don't have the setup ink cartridges that came with it. I can't return the printer. How can I get some setup cartridges. Or is there another way to finish setting up my printer.

Thanks

@Purplemarsha, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • The ink cartridges that go with the printers are setup ink cartridges that are designed to initialize the printer.
  • These ink cartridges are not available at local stores for purchase.

We can try to perform a reset on the printer to bypass the use of setup ink cartridges so that you may use the regular HP ink cartridges.

I have sent you a private message with the reset instructions. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
