Hi @NGF49,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0xb80009f0 on your printer typically indicates a hardware issue or a problem with the printhead or cartridges. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
2. Check for Paper Jams
- Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Open all access doors and carefully check for any stuck paper or debris.
3. Inspect Printhead and Cartridges
- Open the printer and carefully remove the ink cartridges and the printhead.
- Clean the printhead contacts gently with a lint-free cloth and some distilled water.
- Reinsert the printhead and cartridges, ensuring they are seated correctly.
4. Reset the Printer to Factory Settings
- If the error persists, consider performing a factory reset:
- On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Defaults.
- Follow the prompts to complete the reset.
5. Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure your printer has the latest firmware:
- Check the HP website or use the HP Smart app to see if any updates are available.
6. Check Connections
- Ensure all cables are securely connected and there are no issues with the power outlet.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
