To troubleshoot the print failure error message on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8610, try the following steps:

Steps to Resolve Print Failure Error

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check for any firmware updates on the HP website and install them if available.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that all ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Replace any low or empty cartridges.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP website to diagnose and fix common printing issues.

Reset the Printer's Network Settings (if applicable):

  • If you’re using a wireless connection, resetting the network settings can help. Go to Setup > Network > Restore Network Defaults.

Check Printer Status on Computer:
