iOS

i put a 200 pages on print but it stopped after 4 pages. i tried again with 20 pg same thing . now i am doing 4 pgs manually

Try these steps:

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are not low or empty. Low ink levels can often cause printing issues.

Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your home network or mobile device via Wi-Fi. A weak or unstable connection can interrupt print jobs.

Restart Printer and Device:

  • Restart the printer and your iOS device to refresh the connection.

Print Queue:

  • Clear the print queue on your iOS device. A stalled job in the queue could be causing the printer to stop.
  • On your iOS device:
    • Open the Print Center app.
    • Cancel all pending jobs.

Update Firmware and Software:

  • Ensure that both your printer’s firmware and the HP Smart app are up-to-date. This can address compatibility and performance issues.
  • On your printer control panel, navigate to settings and check for firmware updates.
  • Update the HP Smart app via the App Store on your iOS device.

Paper and Printer Settings:

  • Verify that the printer settings match the type and size of paper being used.
  • Check for any paper jams or obstructions in the printer that might be causing the interruption.

Printer Maintenance:

  • Perform a printer self-clean or alignment maintenance task via the printer’s control panel or the HP Smart app.

Test with Different Document:

  • Try printing a different document to ensure the issue isn’t specific to the first file.
