Hi @apb6,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Cancel from the Printer Itself

On the printer screen, press the Cancel (✖️) button to try stopping the job.

If that doesn’t work, proceed with the following steps on your computer.

Use the Windows Print Queue

Search for "Printers & Scanners" on your PC and open it.

Click on your HP DeskJet 8139e printer.

Click "Open print queue".

Right-click the stuck print job and choose "Cancel".

If it doesn’t cancel, continue with the steps below.

Power Cycle the Printer

Turn off the printer.

Unplug it from power for 30–60 seconds.

Plug it back in and power it on.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi
