Hi @SJP540,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding error message on your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. First, do a hard reset. Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on to see if the error is gone.

  2. Next, reseat the ink cartridges and printhead. Open the printer cover, remove the ink cartridges, and take out the printhead if it's removable. Wipe the electrical contacts with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water. Reinsert the printhead and cartridges, ensuring they click into place. Close the printer and check if the error persists.

  3. Then, check for a clogged printhead. If your printer has a printhead cleaning feature, use it from the control panel. If not, remove the printhead and soak the bottom part in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
