when printing it comes out as green or a mixture of green and other colors. new cartridges was put in and still same issue. verified that its the correct ink. ive gone into the properties and even set it to only black ink and its still coming out with colors. its always green and i dont understand because i dont use green.

@JD805, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if that prints fine. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue - Faded, Missing, or Dull Colors in Printouts.

 

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printer as you have already used new set of ink cartridges.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
