I am having to unplug and replug my printer several times a day. It has items either stuck or cancelled in the queue. It won't print if I change where I'm printing from (programs) The screen is not working to make copies, etc. Are there any solutions to these issues?

@Maggik13, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Issues: Stuck Queue and Non-Responsive Screen!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To address your printer issues where jobs are stuck or cancelled in the queue and the printer screen is not functioning properly, follow these troubleshooting steps:
Resolving Stuck or Cancelled Print Jobs
Remove All Cancelled Print Jobs:
- Open your computer’s printer folder and check if cancelled jobs remain in the print queue.
- Delete any remaining cancelled jobs to prevent them from blocking the queue.
- If you cannot delete the jobs, disconnect the USB cable, restart your computer, and reconnect the cable.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Plug the power cord back in and press the power button to turn the printer on.
Addressing a Non-Responsive Printer Screen
Check Printer Connection:
- Ensure that all cables are securely connected to the printer and your computer.
- Verify that the USB cable is firmly inserted into the correct ports.
Check Printer Driver Status:
- Ensure the printer driver is set to ‘Ready’. You can check this status in the HP Solution Center under the 'Settings' tab.
Clear Paper Jam:
- Verify if there is any paper jam inside the printer. Remove any jammed paper as per the instructions in your printer manual.
Ensure Print Carriage Movement:
- Check if the print cartridge carriage can move freely from one side to the other. Do not force it if it is stuck.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
