Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP m283cdw is offline.  When I power cycle the printer, the control screen blinks but ends up blank.  The printer makes noise during power up, but nothing happens.  Originally connected to network through an ethernet cable.  Also tried using a printer cable.  Used HP Smart apps and the HP print and scan doctor app to find the printer. Even tried to connect using the IP address listed for the printer in the printer set up.  Neither of the apps finds the printer regardless of the connection method.  This printer is just two months beyond the warranty period.  

 

A previous post on a similar subject suggested that either the control panel or formatter was bad.  If is there anything I can do other than trash the printer?
