HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer

my printer will not print because HP says it is out of warranty....I paid for this printer, and it is only 2 years old.  Now HP wants to sell me a new printer.  This is crazy; how can this be legal????

Generally, a warranty period for printers is typically one year from the date of purchase, unless an extended warranty or CarePack has been purchased.
