Hi @We113,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check the Power Connection

  1. Ensure that the printer is properly connected to a working power outlet.
  2. Check the power cable for any damages. If possible, try using a different power cable.
  3. Make sure the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the power outlet.

Perform a Power Reset

  1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.
  5. Press the Power button to turn on the printer.

Test the Power Outlet

  1. Plug another electronic device (such as a lamp) into the same power outlet to ensure the outlet is working.
  2. If the outlet is not working, try plugging the printer into a different outlet.

Check for Overheating

  1. Ensure the printer is in a well-ventilated area.
  2. Ensure the power adapter is not covered or blocked, as it may cause overheating.

Verify the Printer Power Button

  1. Press the Power button firmly to see if it responds.
  2. Observe if there are any lights or sounds indicating power.

I hope this helps.
