I need to send in my printer for repair.  I can see inside where cable is detached.

If out of warranty, your best option is to find a local electronics shop to repair it.

So are you telling me that i cannot send it to HP Support for repair?  HP doesn't repair their own printers, for a fee?  I live on an island, there is no local electronics shop to repair it.
