@gaby84, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to have your printer stuck on printing the alignment page. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and the power source, preferably a wall outlet.

Complete the Alignment Process Again:

  • Load plain white paper into the input tray.
  • Adjust the paper width guides to rest against the edges of the paper.
  • Print a new alignment page from the printer's control panel by navigating to the Tools or Printer Maintenance menu and selecting the option to align cartridges, align printhead, or print an alignment page.

Update the Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure the printer is turned on and connected to your computer.
  • Visit the HP Support website to download and install any available firmware updates for your printer.

Check Network Settings (if using Instant Ink cartridges):

  • Restart your wireless router, printer, and PC.
  • On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings.
  • Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
