Hi @Tiwari2514,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP printer's Wi-Fi connection. Let's work through some troubleshooting steps to get your printer back online.

Check the Printer's Power and Status:

  • Ensure the printer is turned on. Look for any error messages or blinking lights on the printer's display panel.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart the printer and your Wi-Fi router. Sometimes, simply rebooting these devices can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Unplug the router and printer for 30 seconds, then plug them back in and turn them on.

Verify Wi-Fi Connection on the Printer:

  • Confirm that the printer's Wi-Fi is enabled. On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless settings.
  • Check if the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. It should be the same network your computer is using.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • Run the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer's control panel:
    • Navigate to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
    • Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Ensure you enter the correct Wi-Fi password. An incorrect password will prevent the printer from connecting.

Check Network Configuration:

  • Print a Network Configuration Page:
    • This will show the printer's IP address and connection status.
    • Verify that the IP address is valid (not 0.0.0.0 or 169.254.x.x).

Ensure Devices Are on the Same Network:

  • Confirm that your computer and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If you have multiple networks (e.g., a guest network), they need to be on the same one.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Download the latest drivers from the HP Support Website:
    • Enter your printer model and select the appropriate driver for your operating system.
  • Install the drivers, choosing the wireless connection option during setup.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows Users):

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:
    • This tool can automatically detect and fix common printing and scanning problems.

Temporarily Disable Firewall/Antivirus Software:

  • Firewall or antivirus programs might block the printer connection.
  • Temporarily disable them to see if the printer connects.

Reset Printer Network Settings:

  • Restore the printer's network settings to default:
    • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Setup > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.
  • Reconnect to your Wi-Fi network using the Wireless Setup Wizard.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Update the printer's firmware:
    • Visit the HP Support Website and search for firmware updates for your printer model.
    • Follow the instructions to install any available updates.

Test with Another Device:

  • Try connecting the printer to another computer or mobile device to determine if the issue is with the printer or your original device.

Assign a Static IP Address:

  • Set a static IP address on the printer to prevent IP conflicts:
    • Use the printer's control panel to enter network settings manually.
    • Ensure the IP address is within your router's range but outside the DHCP allocation pool.

Note:

  • Avoid USB cables during wireless setup, as they can sometimes interfere with the process.
  • Place the printer closer to the router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
  • Ensure the router's firmware is up to date, as outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
