HP 3830, error Message " 0X0005BB6 Lib Math c". The cartridge carriage was at the lett side of the track when the access door was opened and could move freely on its track.  The printer could not be turned off. I unplugged the power cord and re-setted the power module according to standard procedure.  I then reconnected the power line to the printer. I could not turn on the printer.  THE POWER BUTTON WAS NOT LIT.  I checked the power cord, the wall power supply, and the power module. All three are in working order.  Please advise what I can do to turn on the printer.

Hi @sskyu,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing issues with your HP Deskjet 3830 all-in-one printer wherein it does not turn on.

Please follow the steps listed below to reset the printer:
1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
3. Wait 60 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
5. Turn the printer on.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi, Thanks for your email.  As I mentioned in my email, I have already done the power module reset. It did not work: I could not turn on the printer. But one funny thing happened yesterday.  As I stated in my email,  when I unplugged the power cord to turn the printer off, I noticed the carriage was positioned at the left side of the track. So just to try something, I moved the carriage to the right side of the track. And I plugged the power cord on. The machine could be turned on!  I was asked to insert the cartridges. Then the machine wanted to print ( apparently there was an unfinished printing job in the queue when the printer broke down.) and then I was asked to provide paper to the tray. Because I had removed the paper guide tray in order to remove the power module to do the test, I could not feed the paper. So I tried to cancel the pending printing but was unable to cancel it. So I turned the printer off by pressing the power button and succeeded in turning it off.  But after I have put the paper guide tray back on and tried to turn on the printer, I cannot turn it on again!!  I have described everything in detail, especially about  moving the carriage from the left side to the right side of the track  which seemed to trigger something so that the printer could be turned on.  Would you please look into this clue?  Thank you
