Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

My printer is streaking and putting wrong color on my documents. I did all the Maintenace it says to do, went through it at least 3-4 times, plus put in new cartridges. Now it also won't scan. What in the world is going on? It was doing great and out of the blue this happens. I also updated the app and everything else. I was going to uninstall and reinstall but afraid I will screw it up even worse. Please help if you can. Thanks.
