Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my printer. There is a persistent error with the print queue, but this only occurs with documents, as test pages and information pages print correctly. The printer is an HP DeskJet 2710, and the computer is running Windows 11. What could be the cause of this error? How can it be resolved so that I can print normally?

Hi @AnnaPP,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

That sounds frustrating, especially since it’s only affecting your documents—it's tough when things work inconsistently like that.

Troubleshoot print jobs stuck in the queue with your Windows computer.

Reset the Windows printing environment

  • Stop the print spooler, delete print job files, and then restart the computer and the printer.
  • Turn off the printer, and then unplug the power cord.
  • In Windows, search for and open Services.
  • In the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and then click Stop.

Stopping the Print Spooler from the Services window

  • After the Print Spooler stops, close the Services window.
  • In Windows, open File Explorer.
  • Browse to C: > Windows > System 32 > spool > PRINTERS.
  • Delete all files in the PRINTERS folder.
  • Shut down your computer.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer, and then turn it on.
  • Turn on the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
