Hi @SaifMukadam06,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these following steps:

Power Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Hidden Paper Jams

Even if it looks clear, try this:

  • Open the carriage access door.
  • Remove the cartridges.
  • Check inside with a flashlight for tiny bits of paper stuck in rollers.
  • If you find any, gently pull them out.

Reset the Carriage Mechanism

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Manually slide the carriage left and right several times to ensure it's moving freely.
  • Turn the printer back on and check if the error clears.

Clean the Encoder Strip (Transparent Strip Behind the Carriage)

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Find the clear plastic strip running across the back of the carriage.
  • Gently wipe it with a lint-free cloth dampened with water.
  • Let it dry, then turn the printer back on.

 Reinstall Cartridges & Restart

  • Remove the ink cartridges and wipe the contacts (gold-colored part) with a dry microfiber cloth.
  • Reinsert them firmly, then restart the printer.

If the issue persists, let me know! 💙
