Hello, as mentioned, after changing the cartridge I get the usual message to print the alignment page, but it doesn't print anything! It stays frozen to the "Printing alignment page" screen!

I read another similar issue on the forum, but the solution from your experts doesn't work at all, because whatever button I push on the printer doesn't work due to the ongoing frozen printing process that doesn't occur.

 

I have tried everything: removing the power, running HP scan doctor, nothing! Is there at least a way to make an HARD RESET of the printer?

Hello,

I'd suggest you to press the CANCEL button and check if the printer respond. You may click https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-4630-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5305049/document/...  to access the steps that should resolve the issue .

Thanks but no, "cancel" button doesn't work. No button on the printer works. And if I remove the power, then when I restart the printer it again asks to do the alignment by adding paper and when I push on OK the printer freezes at "Printing alignment page"! It's a nightmare!!!
