HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer

Hi, I purchased this printer on eBay and it looks brand new: HP Officejet Pro 8035 All-In-One.
I am stuck as it is asking me to "Use SETUP cartridges that came with your printer." I have a plastic part that sat in the cartridge housing that I removed, then I installed HP ink I purchased locally. I found the support menu, but can't seem to remove the error message. I see that others have struggled with the same issues, and then someone sends them a private message in a link (in which I can't access). Please help! Someone please email instructions on how to perform an OOBE reset

Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
