Hi @GurramDhanu,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP OfficeJet 4630 won't connect to your WiFi using your MacBook Air, here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Step 1: Reset Printer Network Settings

  1. Reset Network Settings on Printer:
    • Go to the printer's control panel.
    • Select the Wireless option.
    • Choose Restore Network Settings.
    • Confirm and reset the network settings.

Step 2: Check Your Wi-Fi Connection

Ensure Wi-Fi is Working:

  • Make sure your Wi-Fi network is functioning correctly.
  • Ensure your MacBook Air is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want your printer to connect to.

2.4 GHz Band:

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi is operating on the 2.4 GHz band, as many printers do not support 5 GHz connections.

Step 3: Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi

  1. Use Wireless Setup Wizard:
    • On the printer's control panel, go to Wireless settings.
    • Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Step 4: Restart All Devices

  1. Restart Printer, Router, and MacBook Air:
    • Turn off the printer, unplug your router for 30 seconds, and restart your MacBook Air. Then reconnect everything and try to connect the printer again.

Step 5: Install Latest Printer Software

  1. Update Software on MacBook Air:
    • Visit the HP Software & Driver Downloads page and download the latest driver or software package for your HP OfficeJet 4630.
    • Follow the installation instructions.

Step 6: Add Printer to MacBook Air

  1. Add Printer in System Preferences:
    • On your MacBook Air, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
    • Click the + button to add your HP OfficeJet 4630.
    • Ensure your printer is listed and select it.

Step 7: Use HP Smart App (Optional)

  1. Download the HP Smart App:
    • Download the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store.
    • Use it to connect and manage your printer wirelessly.

Refer to this document: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
